What We Collect
When you send an inquiry: your name, your email address, your Fiverr username if you give one, the address of your store, the description of your project, any links you share, and the pathway and contract route you choose.
When you browse: the technical data every browser sends, such as device, browser and the pages you visit, handled through the cookies described below.
Why We Use It
To answer your inquiry, to prepare a written scope and offer, and to carry out the work you commission. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(b)).
To keep this site secure and working, and to measure how it performs. This rests on our legitimate interest, or on your consent where the law requires it.
Fiverr
When a commission is contracted through Fiverr, the order, the payment, the messages and the files exchanged there are processed by Fiverr under its own privacy policy. The House sees only what Fiverr shows a seller and never receives your payment card details.
Access To Your Store
When you approve collaborator access, the House works inside your Shopify admin only within the permissions you grant and only for the commissioned work. No password is ever requested. Customer and order data visible in your store is never copied, exported or used for any other purpose, and you can remove the access at any time.
Who Else Processes Your Data
Shopify, which hosts this site and receives the inquiry form. Our email provider, which carries our correspondence. Fiverr, for commissions contracted there. Some of these providers process data outside the United Kingdom, under the safeguards the law requires.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that keep it working and secure, and cookies Shopify uses to measure visits. The cookie notice tells you about them, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
How Long We Keep It
An inquiry is kept as long as it is needed to answer it and, if a commission follows, for the duration of the work. Records required for accounting and tax are kept for the period the law requires. Inquiries that lead nowhere are deleted once they are no longer needed.
Your Rights
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable form. Write to inquiry@granitart.studio. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
