PRIVACY POLICYTHE SOVEREIGN ARCHIVE // LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 2026

This policy covers the Sovereign Archive, the division of GranitArt that receives architectural bureaus: the Sovereign Archive, Tessellated DNA, Architectural Integration and the Architectural Inquiry. The House collects only what it needs to read a dossier, to answer the bureau and to carry out a commission. Nothing is sold. Nothing is used for advertising.

Who Is Responsible

GranitArt Studio LTD.

71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

Registered in England and Wales, company number 17207232.

GranitArt Studio Ltd is the controller of your personal data. For any privacy matter, write to inquiry@granitart.studio.

What We Collect

When a bureau submits a dossier: the name of the bureau, the name of the architect of record, an email address and a telephone number, the name or codename of the project, its location, typology and phase, the placement, scale and target installation, the status of the allocation, the brief, any links to drawings, any request for a non-disclosure agreement, the way the bureau reached the archive, and the number of the box where one was received.

When you browse: the technical data every browser sends, such as device, browser and the pages you visit, handled through the cookies described below.

Why We Use It

To read the dossier, to answer the bureau, to prepare a proposal and specimens, and to carry out the commission. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering a professional inquiry and conducting the work with the bureau (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)), and, where the bureau or its client contracts with the House, the steps taken before that contract and the contract itself (Article 6(1)(b)).

To keep this site secure and working, and to measure how it performs. This rests on our legitimate interest, or on your consent where the law requires it.

Drawings And Confidential Material

Drawings, plans and visuals shared by link are opened only to assess and carry out the commission. They are not passed to third parties and are never published. Where the bureau requests it, a mutual non-disclosure agreement is signed before any drawing is shared, and its terms prevail over this policy.

Publication

No work, client or address is published, exhibited or named without the consent of the bureau. A project may be submitted and carried out under a codename.

Who Else Processes Your Data

Shopify, which hosts this site and receives the dossier. Our email provider, which carries our correspondence. The transfer service the bureau chooses for its drawings, such as WeTransfer, Google Drive or Dropbox, under its own policy. Carriers, when a work is shipped, receive only the delivery details they need. Some of these providers process data outside the United Kingdom, under the safeguards the law requires.

Cookies

This site uses cookies that keep it working and secure, and cookies Shopify uses to measure visits. The cookie notice tells you about them, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

When a bureau arrives through the link on its box, the number of that box is kept in the storage of its own browser, so that the dossier can carry it. It is not sent anywhere until the dossier is submitted, and clearing the browser data removes it.

How Long We Keep It

A dossier is kept as long as it is needed to answer it and, if a commission follows, for the duration of the work. Drawings received under a non-disclosure agreement are kept and deleted according to its terms. Records required for accounting and tax are kept for the period the law requires. Dossiers that lead nowhere are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Your Rights

You may ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable form. Write to inquiry@granitart.studio. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
